The standard perception of ‘The social process of joining an organization' studies the behavior of an individual, the relationship within groups, how the public develops and interacts. Moreover, how these relations can change their behavior within a business. Frederick Taylor (1911) believed that ‘Scientific Management' played an important role in managing organizations. It helped employees develop good productivity as stated in his published work ‘The Principles of Scientific Management ( 1911) ‘Optimizing the way that tasks were performed and simplifying the jobs enough so that workers could be trained to perform their specialized sequence of motions in the one best way.” October (2010)

This essay will aim to examine the core concepts of social process in joining an organization. This involves the importance of looking into the main psychological themes of joining an organization: transition and change, belonging and negotiating differences, learning and expectations. Furthermore, this text will implicate the purpose, relevance, support and protection for an individual and other team members within a business.
