Corporate Social responsibility is a practice whereby an organization tries to execute ethical practices in its operations. It also entails an organization giving back to the society by contributing to activities that benefit the society. The company benefits because of the good public image it creates among the members of the general public.
Apple Corporation agrees with the concept of corporate social responsibility. It has been implementing the concept for as long as it had been operating. Apple tries to show itself as a responsible firm. It has endeavored to address any problems that an individual may encounter. It strives to rectify any violations that may be found. A clear illustration that shows that Apple adheres to corporate social responsibility is its slogan which states that the most fundamental way of doing the responsibility is observing corporate social responsibility.
The management of Apple Corporation has presented itself as a proponent of corporate social responsibility. There are several examples which illustrate this belief. In 2010, Apple Corporation expanded its initiative of training the employees. It extended training to more than four hundred thousand workers regarding their protections and rights. This is according to Apple's code which is in accordance with local Law. Another example which illustrates Apple's commitment towards adhering to the concept of corporate social responsibility was also manifested in2010. It further prohibits the hiring of underage workers.
