The concept of a hero has pervaded throughout history. Many times, heroes are thought of as individuals who have extraordinary prowess in battle or who perform some amazing feat like saving the lives of others. During the past ten weeks, I have examined my definition of a hero based on criteria that have existed since ancient times.
