Rich in culture and history, Peru is a fascinating country. A vacation to the birthplace of the Incan empire can be a beautiful and humbling experience.
The most popular tourist destination is the city of Machu Picchu, which was built around 1450 at the height of Incan civilization and expansion. It is a rich site for archaeology and a look into the grandiose of Incan architecture.
