I would like to apply for the position of Stage Assistant Intern. In the job requirements, you stated that the applicants must have "at least two years prior stage hand experience in the performing arts, or have taken High school/College level Stage Craft/Lighting/Sound classes, or possess experience and knowledge equal to the class work". Since there is no place on the application to list unpaid experience, I wrote this letter.
My tech experience was at Littlerock High School. When not rehearsing, the actors are building and painting sets, hanging and focusing lights, and gathering costumes. For our production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I ran the main rag.
